Mexican takeout packaging design that takes the party home
Mexicali Fresh, a well-known restaurant acclaimed for its genuine Cali-style Mexican cuisine, reached out to our design agency with the task of conceptualizing packaging for their festive fiesta catering box. These boxes were crafted to extend a cheerful and flavorsome dining experience to customers within the comfort of their homes. The design challenge was to infuse a sense of festivity into the catering box design while aligning seamlessly with the existing brand elements.
In the initial phases, we meticulously crafted bespoke typography for the wording of “fiesta kit,” prominently displayed on the food box packaging design. By incorporating shades of purple and green, we paid homage to Mexicali Fresh’s signature colors, fostering a cohesive and recognizable appearance. To lend an additional layer of authenticity to the Mexican take out packaging design, we cleverly integrated the client’s circular logo as the dot atop the “i” in “fiesta kit,” seamlessly harmonizing the design elements. Our innovative team produced a tagline to elevate the food box packaging design’s allure. Taking inspiration from the shape of a taco, we playfully inscribed the tagline, “We put it together. You get together,” in a semi-circular arrangement. This dynamic touch on the Cali-mex packaging design injects a sense of playfulness and simultaneously underscores the convenience offered by the fiesta kits. While maintaining the packaging sides with a sleek and minimalist approach, we applied a contemporary typeface to present the company details.
The ultimate result of the catering box design flawlessly mirrors Mexicali Fresh’s spirited essence, while simultaneously highlighting the brand’s unwavering commitment to excellence. The packaging radiates an infectious excitement, inviting patrons to embark on a culinary journey filled with delectable flavors and cherished memories.
